How To Sell On ebay Part 1
How to Sell On eBay by Pinky
This article was written as a free basic tutorial to all my friends who want to learn how to sell on eBay. I am not a powerseller, nor do I earn thousands of dollars per day (but maybe someday I will). I'm just an ordinary person who overcame fear of the unknown and although I'm still learning, I developed confidence in selling on ebay.
I have a full-time job and I do ebay as a hobby. This page is dedicated to Julie, RN, my co-worker who encouraged me to sell on ebay. I have minimal computer skills but she said I can do it, so one night I finally found the courage to register on ebay. What relief! What freedom! I am no longer afraid! If I can do it, You can do it!

How To Sell On ebay Part 2 Taking A Picture Of Your Item
Taking a Picture of your item. There are several ways that you can take a picture of your item. You can use a regular film camera and have it developed, then scan the prints using the flatbed scanner or convert your prints into a CD-ROM or use a digital camera. I prefer a digital camera personally.
I assume that you already know how to use your camera and upload pictures into your computer. If you don't have a digital camera, this is a good time to look for one.
I recommend you buy a new one.Sony Digital (Monitor/Camera) Cyber-shot 5.1 Megapixel
CANON 0327B001 3.2 MEGAPIXEL POWERSHOT A410
A solid backdrop is recommended so people can distinctly recognized what is for sale. If you plan to be a regular seller, using a tripod is a good idea. Make sure you have adequate lighting when taking a picture. Item should be lit from one or more directions.
Editing The Picture
Your camera may come with a photo editing software or you can use a Microsoft Photo Editor. The important thing is you need to be able to edit your picture by cropping , rotating and resizing.
Cropping
Most digital pictures can benefit from cropping to eliminate distractions around the item.
Rotating
If you took the picture in portrait mode, the result will show the picture on it's side. Rotating it ninety degrees clockwise will make sense when the picture is viewed on ebay.
Find the command "Rotate," in your photo editor.
Resizing
Digital picture files that are so big, take a long time to download to an ebay shopper's computer. If the shopper wait a long time, they might give up and move on to the next item. On your photo editor, click on the command, "Resize."
Keeping your digital pictures within a range between 330 pixels high and 400 pixels wide, will be large enough to show the complete item in detail yet be small enough to download into other people's computer with slow dial-up connections.

Part 4
After the Sale
You have sold an item! Congratulations! You will get an email from ebay notifying you that your item is sold. You can then send an invoice to the buyer.
Your invoice will reflect your payment preferences and your buyer can pay you accordingly. Contact the buyer as soon as possible. The notice from ebay will have a link for contacting the buyer. It's important to be professional so you need to give the buyer instructions on what to do next. If you've been a buyer before, study the email you received from sellers after you won the bid.
Once you receive the payment, it is your duty to send the item to your buyer. Pack your items carefully. Nothing is more frustrating than to get broken ceramics in the mail. You can place your items inside a plastic bag for extra protection before placing them in a box.Leave feedback as soon transaction is completed.
It means that transaction is only completed after the customer receives the item. You may want to tell your customer to contact you for any problems before leaving any feedback so you can address the problem.
You can be factual about the transaction like " payment received, thanks." If they paid super fast then say it! If your dealing was excellent then you can say " Excellent transaction, highly recommended!"
This is the end of our basic tutorial. Now you have some kind of idea on how it's done.I recommend you get an ebay manual to study the details. The Official Ebay Bible
